Andriy Kulykov, chairman of Hromadske Radio, announced the launch of new radio transmitters. From now Hromadske Radio can be heard in the VHF and FM frequenсies in the following cities:
- Kyiv — 70,4 MHz
- Volnovakha— 103,8 MHz
- Kramatorsk — 103,2 МHz
- Krasnoarmiysk — 99,6 МHz
- Luhansk region:
- Starobilsk — 90,2 MHz
- Bilovodsk — 92,6 МHz
- Bilolutsk — 100,0 МHz
- Zorynivka— 103,7 МHz.
By the end of November Hromadske Rasio will start radio broadcast at the second frequency in Volnovakha — 66.05 MHz and in the Luhansk region in the village Shyroky — 101.8 MHz. During November and December journalists of Hromadske Radio will visit the cities of broadcasting to meet with the audience and introduce them the work of radio.
Kyrylo Loukerenko, Editor-in-Chief of Hromadske Radio, told about the new talk shows «Kyiv-Donbass». The shows were started in November for residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and IDPs. The editors of these programs became experienced journalists Mykhaylo Kukin and Tetyana Troschynska. Two-hour talk shows in russian are aimed to cover the most relevant events in Donetsk and Luhansk, and addressed to everyone who wants know more about the situation in the east. Hromadske Radio broadcasts 24 hours per day, five hours of which are broadcasted in Russian.
Natalia Sokolenko, editor of the program «Hromadska Hvylia» and host of several talk shows, told about the start of fundraising campaign on «Crowdrise». Hromadske Radio and US-Ukrainian charity Razom launched a fundraising campaign to fund six months of two live talk shows. Project’s aim is to fundraise $20 000. Before November, Hromadske Radio had the opportunity to speak in Donbas region exclusively via the Internet and at frequencies of partner stations.After the winning in the summer of 2015 in the competition of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Hromadske Radio has been able to speak on five frequencies in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kyiv regions. Another five radio frequencies in Donbas are received for temporary use during the armed conflict in the region.
