Hromadske Radio launches new morning talk show Rankova Khvylya

Today, Hromadske Radio announced the launch of a new morning program Rankova Khvylya (Morning Wave)

Hromadske Radio annouced on the news conference that the show will start on the 1st of February, 2016

Andriy Kulykov, Chairman of NGO Hromadske Radio, told that Rankova Khvylya will be broadcasted every morning from 07:00 to 09:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 10:00 on weekends. The editor of Rankova Khvylya became an experienced journalist Dmytro Tuzov.

Kyrylo Loukerenko, Editor-in-Chief of Hromadske Radio, explained the concept of the new program: “In Rankova Khvylya we will discuss urgent issues that shook Ukraine and the world. Together with experts we will analyze the events and seek answers to urgent questions. And all this under the cheerful music for energetic day”. In addition, Kyrylo Loukerenko admitted, that project is funded by the United Kingdom within the framework of Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF). He also noted, that all donors who provide funding for Hromadske Radio share the ideology and editorial principles of radio and guarantee non-interference in editorial policy.

Olexandr Buzyuk, director of broadcasting company Hromadske Radio, told that programs of Hromadske Radio can be listened online at the official website, on the wave 70,4 MHz in Kyiv and Kyiv region. Besides, Hromadske Radio can be listened in the VHF and FM frequenсies in Donetsk and Luhansk region:

  • Volnovakha — 66, 05 MHz and 103,8 MHz
  • Kramatorsk — 90,9 МHz
  • Krasnoarmiysk — 99,6 МHz
  • Starobilsk — 90,2 MHz
  • Bilovodsk — 92,6 МHz
  • Bilolutsk — 100 МHz
  • Zorynivka — 103,7 МHz
  • Shyroke — 101,8 МHz
